06年到11年，Sony動畫工作室製作了四部動畫長片，其中除了Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs有著不錯的口碑之外，其他作品都屬於不溫不火，而今年另外一部作品Arthur Christmas的熱映，很大一部分原因則歸功於Aardman工作室。明年的這部作品講述的是吸血鬼獵人Van Helsing和吸血鬼Dacula之女Malvis相愛的故事，雖然題材不錯，但由於是獨自製作，而且導演也三次易人，因此要在明年各路圍剿中殺出重圍實在不太樂觀。

Disney動畫工作室在長發之後的新作，不得不說，長發掀起了迪士尼的一個小高峰。新作講述一個街機里的反派角色想當英雄的故事，並加入了很多懷舊經典電玩元素，創意十足。而導演Rich Moore早期曾執導過惡搞電視動畫系列The Simpsons和Futurama，還在2002年因Futurama獲得Emmy獎和Annie獎。始終無法擺脫傳統束縛的Disney能否靠這部誠意之作延續王者風範，還是很讓人期待的。
